‘My Slave Wrecks Journey’ is an account of ODL Fellow Tara Roberts‘ nine-month journey to six countries around the world following a group of black scuba divers as they search for slave shipwrecks. The goal of these divers is to find their own history in the depths of the oceans and to tell their own stories. Tara’s goal is to highlight this extraordinary effort through multi-media and long-form storytelling.
