Sohin Hwang | Artist and Writer

Research Through Body, Art Through Inquiry

What is artistic research and why does it matter? In this talk, Sohin Hwang will introduce the emerging practice of “artistic research” at the edge of both academia and art industry. She will identify what makes a research or an art project an artistic research project, focusing on the elements of inquiry, sense, and embodiment. The presentation will draw on cases of infiltrating and challenging the preexisting dissemination protocols, and on challenges in pedagogy.

Sohin Hwang is an artist and writer working on issues around art, technology, and society.
