Atomfa by ODL Fellow Joanna Wright is a long term, multi-media documentary that records the final days of a rural nuclear power station. It is made in collaboration with the people who live nearby and work on the site to tell the story of the impact of the power station, locally and internationally. From local mythologies and the promise of the atomic age, to the space age. From the past, the present, and long into the future.
Atomfa is supported by the British Film Institute’s Horizon program, Ffilm Cymru Wales, Wales Arts International and Welsh Government Museums, Archives and Libraries
