Abby Lord (ODL Intern 2016-17) is passionate about all aspects of the blurry intersection of ethnography and experimental film. For her senior thesis, she wrote about slowness within experimental ethnography and this experience solidified her desire to think through films and converse with filmmakers about their ideas. She has been a part of the Harvard Film Archive, the MIT Open Documentary Lab, and is currently working at UnionDocs. She has grown up in Tokyo, Hong Kong, Vermont, and recently moved to Brooklyn from Boston after graduating from Tufts University with a double major in anthropology and film/media studies.
