The Atlantic recently profiled 99%: the Occupy Wall Street Collaborative Film. Documentarians Audrey Ewell & Aaron Aites were inspired by the collaborative spirit of the occupy movement. They envisioned 99% as an “open source documentary,” and created it from footage culled from more than 70 contributors— professional and amateur alike. The film, according to Ewell, seeks to achieve
some level of objectivity through an abundance of subjectivities.
