BB-8

BB-8 is a WebVR prototype demonstrating Datavized’s WebVR software running a procedurally generated environment and responsive BB-8 3D model animation. Upon loading the scene, users see sand dunes and sky greeted by BB-8 rolling over a dune towards the user and around the 360° environment. The prototype demonstrates improved scene loading times by rendering the low-bandwidth environment first, followed by the animated model.
