Julie Fischer was a researcher at OpenDocLab and a graduate student at Comparative Media Studies and Writing program. Her CMSW thesis was titled To Create Live Treatments of Actuality: An Investigation of the Emerging Field of Live Documentary Practice. She is a skilled and adaptable researcher bridging the worlds of UX, digital media and documentary film. Her key strengths are qualitative research, collaborative design methodologies, usability testing, interview-driven research and ethnography.
